On a beautiful Spring afternoon at the Loyola Marymount University campus, I had the honor of photographing the Kaihani family with the adorable 10-month old Eva and their family dog. It was such a beautiful morning for a family photoshoot, and our lovely friends Nguyet and Daniel wanted a mini session with their beautiful daughters and Daniel's parents. The results were loving and heart-felt. Nguyen and Daniel met at a popular lounge called Gaslamp in Long Beach while out with their group of friends, and the rest is history. Now, they have been married for seven happy years together with two beautiful children. Big sister Lily and little sister Willow was all camera ready and their photos are super adorable! A few months ago, my husband David and I had the pleasure to capture a lovely photo session for my good friend Lily, who was my makeup artist and hair stylist for my December 2014 wedding, and her husband Bobby. These two have such a wonderful love story that I would like to share with you: Lily and Bobby met through a group of friends hanging out. Lily is outspoken and enjoys an active lifestyle and going hiking outdoors. Meanwhile, Bobby is a very easygoing and calm kind of person. Lily believes they are opposites, but they balance each other very well and they both appreciate the new experiences and characteristics that they each bring to the relationship. They fell in love and got married in November of 2012. Together, Lily and Bobby both enjoy cooking, trying out new restaurants, and watching Korean dramas. They envision having children in the near future, continuing to explore new countries and traveling whenever they can. We wish Lily and Bobby both the very best in 2016!
Their photo session was located at LA's Venice Canal Historic District, which portraits a little town in Italy with gondola rides; quite a romantic setting and a great place for photography.
