As a wedding guest, I'd like to share a mini-wedding blog about my beautiful friend and former coworker Southyda and her handsome husband Rafael. How they met is a cute story: Rafael and Southyda met during her second year in college through one of her roommates. They were both set up to go on a blind date together with some friends as a group date in La Verne at a hookah restaurant. They soon became a couple for 8 happy years, and on their 8th year anniversary, Rafael decided to propose to Southyda on their trip to Islamorada, FL. He had been planning for several weeks and Southyda had no idea what was coming. The proposal happened during an evening dinner at a beachfront restaurant. They were married in October, the month that marked their 10-year anniversary together. They both cannot wait to share more amazing adventures and memories together.
