It was a beautiful Spring day at the Diamond Bar Golf Course for a spectacular wedding celebration of Kristy & Matthew! They had a fun wedding with all their closest family and friends. Everyone was very touched and glad to see these two beautiful souls become husband and wife as they enter this new chapter in their lives.
Here is Kristy and Matthew's love story:
They met on eHarmony and hit it off over a great conversation and common interest for Japanese culture, their passion for God, and Disneyland. Soon, they had their first date and the rest was history. Years later, Matt proposed at one of Kristy’s favorite places in the world, on a cliff overlooking the ocean of Sendai, Japan. There was a tea light path leading from her family-built cabin down to the cliff. When she reached him on the cliff, he was among some trees decorated with fairy lights, down on one knee with ring in hand. He explained to her how he wanted to spend his life trying his best to show her how much he loves her, before he popped the question. It was an intimate setting, just the two of them with Kristy's parents taking photos and video of the occasion.
The overall proposal was very romantic to say the least. Together, they enjoy the love of helping people, cooking meals, and baking cookies together. Opposites attract; Matthew likes everything about sports and loves to eat cookies, meanwhile, Kristy loves to drink tea and enjoys reading her favorite books. Matt loves Kristy’s golden heart that is so full of love for all people, and it’s helped him to learn how to love people more fully and genuinely. Kristy loves Matt’s servant heart, constant thoughtfulness, and contagious laughter. Matt has supported Kristy through some extremely stressful times and she’s not sure how she would’ve managed without him.
Both Kristy and Matthew’s goal is to get things settled in their career paths and they envision continuing to get to know each other fully and in turn, love each other more fully. Overall, it was a fantastic and fun opportunity to witness the love and joy of these two wonderful individuals. Big congratulations to Kristy and Matthew!!!
