On a beautiful summer day in August, we had the privilege of photographing Dana & Mike's intimate wedding day ceremony at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. A little background on how Mike and Dana met: they both went to University of the Pacific. They had different majors and completely different classes, but as fate would have it they ended up in the same Freshman seminar class, "Hippies, Beatniks, and Cool." Even though Dana and Mike were in the same class, they didn't actually meet each other until the end of the year when they were assigned to the same finals project group. Dana didn't know anyone else in the group, but Mike was nice enough to reach out to Dana through Facebook. They seemed to just really click and Dana remembers the first time they talked to each other on the phone, it was like they were long lost friends! From there, the rest was history!
Dana and Mike's hobbies couldn't be anymore different! Mike loves outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and backpacking while Dana enjoys spending her time doing things like puzzling (jigsaw puzzles), binge watching movies & shows on Netflix, and playing games like Tetris or Candy Crush. Things that Dana and Mike like about each other are that their personalities generally just balance each other out, and also have their shared love of dogs!
For the "right-now" plans after marriage, Dana and Mike's focus is to pay off their debt (such as a new house & student loans). In the future, they hope to take road-trips around the U.S., maybe travel abroad, and just spend less time at work and more time with each other! Dana and Mike are also looking forward to giving their parents more grand puppies.
Wedding ceremonies at the Beverly Hills Courthouse are wonderfully intimate and personal, and this one was witnessed by a few close family members and friends of Dana and Mike. Overall, it was a fantastic and fun opportunity to witness the love and joy of these two beautiful individuals. Big congratulations to Dana and Mike!!!
