On a beautiful summer day in September, we had the privilege of photographing Jackie and Randy's spectacular wedding day at the Eagle's Nest Clubhouse at the Navy Golf Course in Cypress. A little background on how Jackie and Randy met: So what brought this East Coast boy and West Coast girl together? Love, of course. As fate would have it, these two future lovebirds first met one another at a ceremony where they gathered to celebrate the union of Michelle & Andy Cortez. Just before the ceremony began, Jackie searched for open seats where she and her sister could watch the couple take their vows. Serendipitously, there were a few empty seats right next to where Randy was seated in the audience. “Andy with an R,” as Randy identified himself, reached his hand out to meet “Ackie with a J,” as Jackie retorted. Needless to say, the two instantly clicked, spending the rest of the evening together sharing stories while eagerly trying to get to know each other. From there, the rest was history!
Even when Jackie moved nearly 200 miles away for law school, the geographical distance between them only drew their bond even closer together. Jackie unabashedly admits that it takes a “very special man,” to date her. Fearlessly independent and career driven, Jackie recognizes the value of having a supportive partner like Randy in her life. In fact, it was during her most exhausting, taxing California Bar exam preparations that Jackie recognized how indispensable Randy’s love and support was in her life. Both settling into their careers now, the two live together in Long Beach and enjoy refining their cooking skills together. As for hobbies, both Jackie and Randy like to explore, bike ride, work out, watch Netflix and do fun adventures. Things that Jackie and Randy like about each other are Randy like his wife's smile and personality. Jackie love that fact that her husband is patient and listens well. But most importantly he has such a kind soul. Now that these two are happily married, they envision their future with lots of traveling, fun times, with two kids, one day and a tree house.
Jackie and Randy, they are simply perfect for each other. It was such a fantastic and fun opportunity to witness the love and joy of these two beautiful individuals. Big congratulations to Jackie and Randy!!! We wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness. Thank you for allowing us to capture your special and memorable day.
