   This past summer, Christina and Nick had a spectacular Classic Hollywood Movie Themed Wedding, with their favorite Star Wars Storm Troopers making a special appearance at their wedding reception. Perfect timing for the upcoming Star Wars movie in December! My husband David and I had the pleasure of attending Christina and Nick's glamorous and unforgettable day. Together under one roof with their families and friends, Christina and Nick's wedding was held at the The Sky Room in Long Beach overlooking the Queen Mary and beautiful skyline of downtown Long Beach. 

    Everything about this wedding was so on point... Nick, Christina and their son Noah are big-time movie fanatics, so the Storm Troopers, style cues, cigarette candies and various other Hollywood props let their style shine through on their special day. The Storm Troopers were a big hit, getting everyone really excited and snapping pictures left and right. Families and friends danced throughout the night and we all had a blast celebrating their long-time love. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness, Christina and Nick!! The beautiful Indian wedding celebration is finally here for Navneet and Sumjyot as they recently had a big wedding in Texas on October 24th. And not too long ago, I was their photographer for their Sangeet Ceremony in early October. Together with their families and friends, all gathered at a beautiful wedding venue to witness the love and joy of these two wonderful individual now as a married couple. Big congratulations Navneet and Sumjyot!!! Engagement Party Turns to a Surprise Wedding / Studio 1342 Los Angeles / Wedding Photographer / Regina + Daniel

     I've captured many weddings before but this one has to be one of the most memorable. I had the pleasure to assist my good friend and mentor Carissa Woo Photography for one of her wedding events. The twist of this creative event was the invitation stated to guests that this was an Engagement Party for Regina and Daniel, but it was actually their wedding! And none of the guests, bridal party or even their parents knew about it!! Regina and Daniel had their first look photograph before the guests arrived. Being a creative and sneaky couple, Daniel and Regina came up with a brilliant idea to shock their families and friends.  After the shoot, they showed their engagement video to guests during the reception, and at the end of the video they surprisingly announced, "Welcome to our wedding, guys!" Everyone's reaction was either tears of joy, shocked faces or speechlessness.

     Guests soon found themselves exiting the closed doors to a full wedding ceremony in the back of the venue. Overall, the entire surprise wedding was a success! All their families and friends had an amazing time and more importantly, a unique wedding event to tell others about. Big congratulations to the gorgeous and happy couple...
