On a beautiful warm sunny day in Los Angeles, I had the pleasure and honor of assisting my good friend and mentor Carissa Woo as her second photographer. The lovely married couple is Lorena and Juan, they got wed at a gorgeous St. Vincent de Paul Church, and afterwards we swing by the famous Walt Disney Concert Hall for some great photo op of the newlyweds. Then we met with their bridal party at the Pasadena City Hall for more unforgettable memories.. And finally a beautiful and spectacular wedding reception with the couple's families and friends at the Imperial Palace Banquet Hall in Pasadena. Overall, this gorgeous wedding was bursting with colors, fun, and especially lots of love. Congrats the beautiful couple Lorena and Juan!! It was such a beautiful morning for a family photoshoot, and our lovely friends Nguyet and Daniel wanted a mini session with their beautiful daughters and Daniel's parents. The results were loving and heart-felt. Nguyen and Daniel met at a popular lounge called Gaslamp in Long Beach while out with their group of friends, and the rest is history. As a wedding guest, I'd like to share a mini-wedding blog about my beautiful friend and former coworker Southyda and her handsome husband Rafael. How they met is a cute story:  Rafael and Southyda met during her second year in college through one of her roommates. They were both set up to go on a blind date together with some friends as a group date in La Verne at a hookah restaurant. They soon became a couple for 8 happy years, and on their 8th year anniversary, Rafael decided to propose to Southyda on their trip to Islamorada, FL. He had been planning for several weeks and Southyda had no idea what was coming. The proposal happened during an evening dinner at a beachfront restaurant. They were married in October, the month that marked their 10-year anniversary together.
